  18. of other musicmakers to upstarts Nirvana and their new release,
  19. Nevermind. The album rode to the top of Billboard's hit list
  20. last week, swatting aside Michael Jackson's Dangerous.
  21. Washington State art students turned rockers Kurt Cobain and
  22. Chris Novoselic joined forces with drummer David Grohl in 1990.
  23. Since then the group's punk-pop fusion and themes of alienation
  24. and injustice have struck a chord with college students, who
  25. raided record stores over the winter break, sending sales of
  26. Nevermind to the pinnacle of popdom.
